AI DISCOVERY GUIDE
What is AI search visibility—and how can your business improve it?
AI search visibility is about whether your business is mentioned, recommended, or cited when people ask AI assistants questions related to your products or services. It is not a single universal score.
What makes a trustworthy AI visibility assessment?
A reliable assessment records the exact question, AI platform, date, and evidence. It separates direct mentions from citations and avoids treating model-generated guesses as verified answers.
How to make your business easier to discover
Start with accurate business details, useful pages that answer customer questions, consistent descriptions across trusted sources, and technically accessible website content. Evaluate changes over time with repeatable tests, rather than expecting guaranteed placement.
Frequently asked questions
What is AI search visibility?
AI search visibility describes whether and how a business appears in AI-generated answers to relevant questions. A mention, recommendation, or citation can be measured separately.
Why doesn't ChatGPT mention my business?
Possible reasons include a mismatch between the question and your business, limited publicly accessible information, competing sources, or differences between AI platforms. A missing mention in one answer does not prove your business is invisible everywhere.
Is AI visibility the same as Google search ranking?
No. Traditional search rankings and AI-generated answers are different measurements. AI answers may cite sources, mention brands without links, or vary by prompt and time.
How should I measure AI visibility?
Use documented prompts, platforms, timestamps, locations where applicable, and saved evidence. Distinguish verified AI answers from simulated or estimated results.
